"The Transcarpathian school of painting has occupied a unique place on the cultural map of Ukraine for the second century and has given birth to several generations of outstanding artists. If you look for one word that unites them, it is the word "OTHERS". Their work has a different expressiveness, a different emotionality, a different attitude to color. They create painting from a different angle. Angelina Gafynets, continuing the tradition, took a very powerful step in the latest perception of color and actively works in this direction. This is already the third exhibition in the museum space under my curatorship. The previous two "UNDER AN ANGLE" were held with great success in 2021 at the Kyiv History Museum and in 2022 at the Korsakiv Museum of Modern Ukrainian Art. The works presented today are very bright and interesting and continue the previous project in the direction of reproduction of the interior space" - Yuriy Komelkov, chairman of the CF «KULTAURA».

"The artists who live in the color flow have something in common - their ability to slow down time. We see what we see. The concreteness of blue or red does not negate its metaphorical nature, but makes this concreteness more meaningful and ambiguous. We see what we see. But the art of artists who live in a color stream gives others the opportunity to see the real world" - Tiberiy Silvashi, full member (academician) of the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine, born in Transcarpathia.

"The extraordinary structural and color solution of the young artist adds a modern sound to her work" - Ihor Abramovych.

"In the modern Transcarpathian school of painting, A. Gafynets first approached the inner space in a new color-planar, artistic-figurative system, where the color itself is material, strong and dense, forming a clear composition that stretches into the depths, building plans. In her work, the author demonstrates the tenacity of the traditions laid down by her predecessors, but confirms them in the space of today, creating new forms. Firstly, in the canvases of A. Gafynets, the material is the color itself, and not a realistic substance, and secondly, an absolutely clear composition of a set of colors that leads to simplification, turning into a formal composition, accordingly creating certain states. The feeling of color, the understanding of the nature of paint and its combinations, a bold and experimental combination builds harmonious visions on the canvas" - Volodymyr Petrashyk, Candidate of Art History, Associate Professor, Editor-in-Chief of the Fine Arts magazine.

"In my works there is an image of the internal environment, created by colored planes of the constructive composition in the 3D system" - Angelina Gafynets.
